“Don Antonio Betti” Library
The new library building, located on the ground floor of Palazzo Cassi, was inaugurated in 2013, following the redevelopment of the entire building by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano, and is named after Don Antonio Betti.
It provides users with around 6,000 volumes, divided into fiction, popular and local works. All materials, for adults, young people and children, are placed on open shelves. The library has a total of twenty study and reading stations for users and four fixed stations for internet browsing and research. There is also an area dedicated to children from 0 to 6 years old with soft furnishings and illustrated books from the “Born to Read” project and another with projectors for events and meetings. It offers reference services, bibliographic advice, local and inter-systemic lending. E-reader lending with over 100 titles to choose from.
