"La Valle dei Tufi" cycle and pedestrian path

The Tufi Valley means immersing yourself in the tranquility of the lush, green Marche countryside; here and there, you'll encounter farmhouses, a reminder of the "sharecropping civilization," as you wander among rows of vines and lush olive groves. Large tuff walls characterize this entire area. Starting from the town of San Costanzo, you can reach the splendid village of Stacciola and then continue to the church of the Madonna delle Grotte, a route of about 3 km. Along the way, you'll encounter its springs: the small Stacciola spring and the "Fonte grandi di Mondolfo" spring, with wash houses, spouts, and drinking troughs. The hike through the Tufi Valley allows you to encounter colorful flora and vibrant fauna. It's located just 4 km from the sea and can be explored by bike, on horseback, or even on foot with family, friends, or alone. The trail also offers pleasant rest stops for picnics or snacks.
